I stumbled on a way to eat what I like and lose
weight. I've tried to loose weight in the past and found myself losing
10 pounds and gaining 20. I dieted myself right up to 342 pounds. Today
I weigh 316 pounds and I got there by eating what I want. I also
lowered my blood pressure and no longer have hypo -hypothyroidism.
When I started to eat what I really wanted I guess my metabolism
started to work like it is suppose to. I waited until I was hungry and
just ate smaller portions. I went to my doctor and she said I no longer
need to take thyroid pills. At first I was disappointed because the
pills gave me energy and I was afraid I would get that tired feeling I
used to have. She prescribed one more month and said she would no longer
fill the prescription.
When I waited for hunger then ate I got energy
like I haven felt in a long time. It feels great. What I discovered is,
that if I eat what I desire and do not allow myself to eat till I'm
stuffed the weight just comes off. I love fating foods and realize I
can't eat them all the time but small portions help to satisfy my
cravings as well as my hunger . Traditional dieting have made me fat and I just can't live
by eating foods I don't really like. I do not like carrots unless they
are dipped in a mound of Hidden Valley
Ranch dressing. Don't get me wrong I don't just eat fating foods but if
I do I usually only eat a small portion. What I have found is that
some foods fill you up so that you don't over eat. So I wait for hunger,
then eat a small amount of oatmeal or raisin brand cereal or some beans
then I fix my real meal with may consist of 1/2 sandwich, a 2 by 2
piece of dessert and a few chips and I am usually satisfied. It sounds
so easy but it works.
